Terms of Service
The terms that govern our website, our proposals and the work we deliver for you.
Last updated · 27 August 2026Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of designtechglobal.com and any services provided by DesignTech Global. By accessing the site, requesting a quote or engaging us for work, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
Our Services
We provide architecture and engineering design, BIM modelling and coordination, 3D visualization, landscape design, project management, permit documentation and scan-to-BIM services.
The precise scope, deliverables, timeline and fee for each engagement are set out in a written proposal or quotation. That document, together with these terms, forms the agreement between us.
Quotations & Pricing
Prices shown on the website are indicative starting points. A binding figure is confirmed in writing after we review your scope.
- Quotations remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise
- Prices exclude taxes, duties and third-party fees unless stated
- Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it begins
- Selecting a plan on our site is a request, not a completed purchase
Payment Terms
Unless agreed otherwise in the proposal:
- An advance payment may be required before work begins
- Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice
- Recurring plans are billed at the start of each billing cycle
- Late payment may result in work being paused until the account is settled
- Bank charges and transfer fees are the client's responsibility
Card payments are handled by a third-party payment provider under their own terms. We do not store card details on our systems.
Client Responsibilities
To deliver on time we rely on you to:
- Provide accurate briefs, drawings, surveys and site information
- Confirm that material you supply does not infringe third-party rights
- Respond to queries and approvals within reasonable timeframes
- Nominate a single point of contact for decisions
- Obtain any permits, consents or approvals required for the project
Delays in providing information or approvals may affect agreed timelines and cost.
Revisions & Changes
Each engagement includes an agreed number of revision rounds. A revision means refinement within the agreed scope and direction.
Changes that alter the scope, brief or direction after approval — including redesigns and added deliverables — are treated as additional work and quoted separately before proceeding.
Intellectual Property
Your material. You retain ownership of all drawings, data and documents you supply to us.
Our deliverables. On full payment, ownership of the final deliverables produced for your project transfers to you for the agreed purpose.
Our methods. We retain ownership of our templates, families, scripts, workflows and general know-how, which we may reuse on other projects.
Portfolio use. We may show completed work in our portfolio and marketing only with your prior written approval.
Delivery & Timelines
Timelines are estimates given in good faith based on the agreed scope and prompt client input. We work to meet every deadline, but we are not liable for delays caused by late information, delayed approvals, scope changes, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Cancellation & Refunds
- If work has not commenced, advance payments are refundable in full
- Once work has commenced, fees for work already performed are non-refundable; unused portions are credited or refunded pro rata
- Recurring plans may be cancelled before the next billing cycle; the current cycle is not refunded
- We may end an engagement where terms are breached or payment is not made
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information received from the other. We treat all project material as confidential by default and are happy to sign your NDA. This obligation continues after the engagement ends.
Warranties & Professional Responsibility
We perform our services with reasonable skill and care, consistent with professional standards.
Our deliverables support your project but do not replace review, approval and sign-off by a licensed professional of record in your jurisdiction where local law requires it. You remain responsible for obtaining required approvals and permits.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or connected with any engagement is limited to the fees paid to us for that engagement.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Third-Party Content & Links
Our website may link to third-party sites and rely on third-party software and services. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of those third parties, and links do not imply endorsement.
Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business. We ask that any dispute first be raised with us directly so we can try to resolve it in good faith. Where that is not possible, the dispute will be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its last-updated date. Continued use of the site or our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Terms agreed in a signed proposal continue to govern that engagement.
